A new board game, “Wildcraft” is now available. It teaches kids about edible and medicinal herbs that can be found in nature, including their effects and how they can identify them.
Wildcraft incites children into going outside and exploring their surroundings with the intention of finding these plants. The game bears similarities to games like Candyland or Chutes and Ladders.
Wildcraft puts an innovative “twist” into it and makes players explore grandma’s house and go through different paths while observing the surroundings.

Of course, players may find different obstacles on the way, which adds some “difficulty” to the game. Bee stings and mosquito bites are some of the common troubles that kids will have to deal with during their gameplay.
The game includes 25 different edible and medicinal plants. It describes how to identify them and how you can take advantage of them during emergencies. Plus, it makes kids explore different ecosystems.
Wildcraft also teaches children about teamwork. The only way to go back to grandma’s house is to work together and help each other out when it’s necessary. The game is made from recycled materials and is beautifully illustrated.
